Boca Raton Airport (KBCT) primarily serves private jets and small commercial flights with a low accident rate, but has experienced occasional mechanical failures or weather related events (such as thunderstorms and crosswinds) throughout history. Since 2020, the airport has upgraded its radar system and pilot training protocol, resulting in a further decrease in accident frequency in recent years.
